The Monte Sano State Park Spring Campout is in the books and we had a great time. This was the first time the Pack has camped at Monte Sano. The weather was fantastic, both in the day and night.
The Scouts had a diverse group of activities to choose from. There was plenty of places to ride bikes, go for hikes, and visit the waterfalls. Saturday night was a special treat for all the campers. The park has a planetarium that the Pack hiked to and learned about the spring stars in the sky. Afterwards, telescopes were set up outside for everyone to gaze at Mars and Jupiter.
Thanks to everyone who made this campout a success. You can view the photos on our Picasa page.
