It’s that time of the year again, Spring Campout! If you went with us in the fall to Camp Sumatanga you know how much fun we have. This spring we are staying a little closer to home so there is no need to stay home. Even if you have a baseball game on Saturday morning you can be with us by the afternoon. Here are the details, we look forward to seeing you.

Who: All Pack 95 Scouts, Adults, Family, and Friends

What: Camping, Hiking, Riding Bicycles (Bring Your Helmet), Tug-of-War, Campfire Skits and Songs… Basically a WHOLE LOT OF FUN for all!

When: The fun officially begins at 10:00 am, Saturday April 9th.

Friday night camping (April 8th) is optional with arrival at 4:00 pm

Camp will officially break Sunday at 10:00 am.

Where: Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park—Scout Camp Ground

(Tannehill is located off Interstate 59, 12 miles southwest of Bessemer, less than 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham. Take I-59/20 to Exit 100 and follow the signs (appoximately 2 miles) or you can take I-459 to Exit 1 and follow signs (approximately 7 miles).

Menu: Saturday Lunch—Sandwiches and Chips, Pickles, Fruit

Saturday Dinner— Hot dogs and Hamburgers

Saturday P.M. Snack—”Cracker Barrel” following the campfire

Sunday Breakfast—”Eggs in a Bag!” ( A Pack 95 Tradition)

(Optional) Friday Night—Hot grill provided, bring your own food

(Optional) Saturday Breakfast—Hot grill provided, bring your own food

How Much: $18 per Camper for Saturday and Sunday morning (includes meals)

$5 per Person for Friday night (bring your own food)

$8 per Person not camping (includes Saturday lunch and dinner only)
